About The Author

Gwynne Weir is a published author based in the United Kingdom.
A passionate reader and writer from a young age, she has always delighted in being able to create worlds of her own to explore.
Inspired by the likes of Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, and Neil Gaiman, her writing is often in the genres of Science Fiction and Fantasy. However, never one to be pigeon-holed, she has also published work outside of those genres and enjoys the challenge of stepping out her comfort zone.
A Primary School teacher in the daytime, Gwynne spends many of her out of school hours writing or collecting ideas for her Weired worlds. 
She also enjoys travelling with her husband. Both in the UK and in Europe, they have travelled by motorbike, campervan and on foot. They particularly enjoy exploring the secret places of Scotland.
